My theme this year is music. Specifically music that I listen to at least fairly regularly and that falls in to these categories:
D - Can't help but dance to it
P - Panicked
S - Can't help but sing to it
S/C - Strikes a chord with me (no pun intended)
W - Wildcard
When it some to the “strikes a chord” category, I don't necessary relate or connect to that song but it still send a bit of shiver through me to listen to it. And I couldn't think of a way to describe all of that in one short phrase... so strikes a chord it is.
Enjoy!P - Panicked

Welcome to the first of my 2 "wildcard" posts (Betcha can't guess which letter is the other wildcard can you?)
Basically I could not think of a song that I had ever heard of let alone listened to on a regular basis that began with the letter X so I decided to make this a wildcard post. Both of my wildcard posts concern music that I like to listen to when I am writing - today's type of music? Classical.
I don't know why but I do like to listen to a bit of classical music when I am writing and here are 2 of my favourite pieces.
Danse Macabre - Camille Saint-Saens
The only problem with listening to classical music when I'm writing is sometimes I end up conducting instead of typing :)
(don't turn this up too loud - it starts out quiet and then gets louder... suddenly)
In The Hall Of The Mountain King - Edvard Grieg
(this is another one that starts off quiet and gets louder - although this one isn't quite so sudden)
