Teaser Tuesday - A Weekly Book Meme

I've been reading the Should Be Reading blog for a while now... and been thinking about taking part in this weekly book meme for about as long.

And seen as I'm taking part in a number of reading challenges this year I figured I might as well start taking part in Teaser Tuesday!

So it is a very simple thing to take part in - all you have to do is:

"Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!"

And then go and post your link on the Should Be Reading blog for all to see.

Now it says 'open to a random page'... but so I don't spoil the story for myself I will open to a random page that I've read already (that might be a given - I'm not sure).

Then I also figured (there was lots of figuring involved) that whilst I was teasing you on a Tuesday I could also tell you if the book in question counts towards any of the reading challenges I'm doing.

So my first ever 'teasers':

"The warmth of her affection for Edward startled her. She had forgotten that she like Edward so much."

And this book counts towards The Mystery & Suspense Reading Challenge as hosted by Book Chick City.

So until next week... don't be surprised though if I'm still on the same book. Some weeks I read really quickly, other weeks not so much. But if I am on the same book I should be a bit further along so there will be more random pages to be had!

I like this idea. A good way to find some new books for the TBR pile.
