Basically you have to write a list of things you want to do... before you kick the bucket. Obviously it may become difficult to achieve them afterwards depending on what they are I suppose. It is being hosted over on the SwimWriteRun blog.
- Have a novel published [I would say 'my novel' but I don't know how many novels of mine it will take before publication - I only have the one right now]
- Go to Italy... which isn't that difficult for me as I am in the UK so I don't have too far to go... but it is having the money to do so - but I am saving up to go!
- Live by the sea - I would really like to live by the sea at some point in my life [but again money is the problem there].
- Meet the man of my dreams - I am a bit of a romantic... so what?
- Now this one may seem a little silly - I would like to have a walk in wardrobe at some point in my life [maybe in the house by the sea!]
- Have a house [possibly the same one with the walk in wardrobe and that is by the sea] where I can have a library - a room dedicated to books not unlike the one on Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
- To be in a position when I can give up the day job and focus on writing, perhaps with a bit of charity/volunteer work thrown in.

I also long for a huge library in my own house. Of all my reasons not to do ebooks, this is probably the biggest.
I am totally on board with the house you're describing :) Great list, so glad you found the blogfest!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a romantic! And I would so love a library. All my books are relegated to one bookshelf that is quickly running out of space!
Yes, sign me up for this house, too. By the sea, walk-in closet, B& the B library. Check, check and check. Great list.
I'm stealing your number 6! I want to have a house with a massive library too one day, one where I need a ladder on wheels to ride around on. :)
Find the dream house, then fill it with books - so you never have to move them all again! Great list, especially on the spur of the moment. =)
I love your list! :)
I live by the sea, and I've visited Italy, but there's a lot else on your list I'd like to achieve for myself :D
Travel's on so many lists. Great minds, you know?
If you haven't already, you should read Eat Pray Love. Italy, India, and Indonesia where Gilbert travels, finds love, and generally makes you laugh/cry/read until the book's finished and you crave more. :)
Thanks for sharing!

The beach is only 25 minutes from my home, but I want to live right on it, so that my backyard is sand! One day...
