Intros & Teasers

To take part in Tuesday Intros simply share the first paragraph of the first chapter of the book you are reading or are going to read. Tuesday Intros is hosted by Bibliophile By The Sea.

To take part in Teaser Tuesday turn to a random page in the book you are reading, and share two teaser sentences from that page, without sharing spoilers. Teaser Tuesday is hosted by A Daily Rhythm.

Here's mine:

Tuesday Intro

Moving a guy as big as Keever isn't easy. It was like trying to wrestle a king-size mattress off a waterbed. So they buried him close to the house. Which made sense anyway. The harvest was still a month away, and a disturbance in a field would show up from the air. And they would use the air, for a guy like Keever. They would use search planes, and helicopters, and maybe even drones.

Teaser Tuesday

Reacher sat in a chair in his room, in the dark, six feet back from the window, invisible from the outside, just watching. Fifteen minutes, then twenty, then twenty-five.

Lots of tension in your Teaser. I can almost feel him waiting in the dark! This sounds like a scary thriller.
My Tuesday post features In His Arms.

I really like the teaser and opening you shared. This is a series I wish I liked more. There the types of books I like, but I've never completely warmed to Jack Reacher the way so many others have. It makes me sad. I want to like the books.
