Intros & Teasers
To take part in Tuesday Intros simply share the first paragraph of the first chapter of the book you are reading or are going to read. Tuesday Intros is hosted by Bibliophile By The Sea.
To take part in Teaser Tuesday turn to a random page in the book you are reading, and share two teaser sentences from that page, without sharing spoilers. Teaser Tuesday is hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Here's mine:
Tuesday Intro
Annie Graham studied the selection of keys on the rusty hook behind the kitchen door, looking for the one to the crumbling Victorian mansion. Recognising the white, plastic key ring she plucked it off the hook and pushed it into the bottom of her pocket. Earlier she had filled her rucksack with a torch, some rope, a bottle of water, a bag of Quavers and a bar of chocolate: all things a girl couldn't live without. She felt like Indiana Jones, about to go on an adventure.
Teaser Tuesday
Her hands trembling, she opened it and read the inscription on the inside front cover: This is the private diary of Alice Hughes. A chill spread down the back of her neck: the man in the house had been shouting for Alice.

Sounds like fun - enjoy!
Well, honestly, you pretty much had me at ghost and then you added old diary. I'm in. LOL
I'm a sucker for books that have an old diary in them and that opener clinched it for me! Here is my Tuesday post https://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2015/06/02/first-chapter-first-paragraph-june-2/
I like the cover and The intro -- would read more.
I like this one. Sounds like my kind of book.
I love ones like these,I especially like it when there's diaries or notes on the pages. Makes the pages fly and the story so intriguing!
