Intro & Teaser Time!
To take part in Tuesday Intros simply share the first paragraph of the first chapter of the book you are reading or are going to read. Tuesday Intros is hosted by Bibliophile By The Sea.
To take part in Teaser Tuesday turn to a random page in the book you are reading, and share two teaser sentences from that page, without sharing spoilers. Teaser Tuesday is hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Here's mine:
Tuesday Intro
The Austrian horses glinted in the moonlight, their riders standing tall in the saddle, swords raised. Behind them two ranks of diesel-powered walking machines stood ready to fire, cannon aimed over the heads of the cavalry. A zeppelin scouted no-man's-land at the center of the battlefield, its metal skin sparkling.
Teaser Tuesday
Volger crouched between the chairs to peer forward, his face blackened with dirt and sweat. Blood flowed from a scratch above one eye, shining bright red in the gloom of the shuttered cabin.

Got to love a good tease.
Happy belated Blitz day. I'm slow on the email reading. :)
Hmmm...I think I'd have to read further, although I have heard such good things about the author. Hope you enjoy it!
I've heard of this one, but had no idea what it was about until now. I like the intro and teaser you shared. I hope you are enjoying it. It sounds like something I might like.
This sounds like a book my husband would enjoy more than I would. The opening is definitely full of action!
My Tuesday post features THE GIVER.
This sounds right up my alley!I hope you're enjoying it! :D
My teaser is from Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan
I read this one a few years ago.
Not sure this would be for me by that intro.
Great teaser! Here's mine: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1aM
Sounds exciting...and full of adventure. Enjoy! Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Your teaser sounds intense! I've always wanted to read a Scott Westerfeld book - I've had "Uglies" on my shelf for a few years. Maybe I will pick it up, and look into this one as well. Thanks for sharing!
This sounds exciting. Sorry I messed you post until today.
