It's Intro & Teaser Time!

To take part in Tuesday Intros simply share the first paragraph of the first chapter of the book you are reading or are going to read. Tuesday Intros is hosted by Bibliophile By The Sea.

To take part in Teaser Tuesday turn to a random page in the book you are reading, and share two teaser sentences from that page, without sharing spoilers. Teaser Tuesday is hosted by A Daily Rhythm.

Here's mine:

Tuesday Intro

The journey of my life is no different than the journey of anyone else on this planet. There have been brilliant moments and moments that still make me cringe when I think about them. I'm haunted by my past, and worried about my future just as much as anyone else. I'm confident that I'm not the only one going through the peaks and valleys of life. The realization that I'm not alone allows me to understand how normal these things really are. We tend to amplify our problems and sink into a centre-of-the-world mentality, thinking that the entire universe is conspiring against us; it's not.

Teaser Tuesday

Don't care what others think until you've taken your own thoughts into consideration. You can't predict what other people think, and even if you could, it's impossible to make everyone happy.

Sounds like good, common sense advice!

Honestly, I don't think this one is for me or at least I'd have to be in the right mood. :-)

Hm. This might be right up my alley. It definitely deserves looking into further. Thanks for highlighting it.

Both the intro and the teaser make very sensible comments - a good find by the looks of things!
