First Loves Blogfest

 Today is the the day of the First Loves Blogfest hosted by Alex J Cavanaugh.

And all you have to do is:

1st Movie

When I was little I used to love watching the 1939 cartoon film of Gulliver's Travels. My Nana had it on video and apparently I used to watch it every single week (I think this might be over exaggerating a teeny bit but I am sure I watched it quite a lot).

1st Band

The first band that really had an impact on me was The Spice Girls. I was very in to the whole 'Girl Power' thing. And I had all their albums, various posters and merchandise...

1st Book

My first favourite book (and it's still up their in my list of favourites) was George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl (be warned the Roald Dahl website does play music and make random noises).

I always wanted to do what George did - go around the house emptying more or less everything in to a big pan and mixing it all up... maybe not to feed to my Grandma (my Grandma was nice for one thing).


1st Love

My first instinct was to tell you to mind your own business in regards to this.

But then I thought I'd tell you a little story. Looking back I don't think it was really love. We were too young really to understand that.

But when I was four (yeah I know), and had just started school I had a 'boyfriend' called Tom. I use the term loosely because were only four at the time. Anyway I was convinced that in just twelve short years Tom and I would get married and we would live happily ever after. Suffice to say it didn't happen. It lasted about a year (maybe less I'm not sure) before he became the 'boyfriend' of one of my friends.

Aah... young love...
